Toy boxes to treasure

It’s funny how you come across things…Working on a completely non-craft related project (yes we have day jobs too) I happened across Pitter Patter furniture, and what a fantastic find they are. They hand craft beautiful children’s furniture, including a small obsession of mine toy boxes! Toy boxes don’t just have to be ‘practical storage solutions’ (yawn), they can be a delightful piece of furniture, that your child will use and love for years to come.

Christmas Crafts for Kids

Tis the season to get crafty!  Never is there a better time to get the kids making and doing than right now. Decorations, cards and gifts can all be made in a midst of glitter, glue and tissue paper. We’ve pulled together a list of some of our favourite crafty kids activities we’ve found online – hopefully they’ll inspire you to do some festive crafting too!

Crafty Activity – Build a bottle bird feeder

This is a nice autumnal craft activity and a great activity to do with kids of all ages (little ones can help too). All you need is a plastic bottle, string, 2 pencils, scissors and some bird feed.
